Happy New Year everyone! I’m really excited to continue to bring you Firebase news and interesting articles. This week we have some great videos and articles on Firestore.

Here’s looking to hit 200 soon! You can help by sharing the newsletter.
Also, the waitlist for Firemon has been growing. In case you don’t know, Firemon is a new app that helps you manage and predict your Firebase costs. We, like many, got hit with some unexpected usage costs, so we built an application to handle alerting/monitoring (more granular than Google’s alerts) and cost predictions.
You can sign up for the waitlist and share to get bumped up higher.
And now away we go…

Prerelease your app updates with Firebase App Distribution!
The spiritual successor to Fabric/Crashlytics Beta that is integrated with other Firebase products. Also, “free and unlimited”, so not too bad. This is the whole keynote, but the link skips right to the App Dist part.
That is all for this week and hope you have a great 2020!
